A little insight on this auction: A wonderful estate from a home in St. Clairesville Ohio (Near Wheeling WV). Thomas Peterson was in the Navy & worked several years for Nabisco. He was very wise with his money & investments and rarely disposed of anything. Most of the jewelry in this auction were that of both of his late wives and their parents. There is also a great variety of antiques, furniture etc that came through many generations, (we even have some old family photos that show some of the antiques back when they were “new” & being used). Also included in this auction is a P.O.A. case that includes many items from a previous client of ours, Mary Plautt (92). Last July we conducted an auction for Mary & her sister Francis Fitez (deceased) from Clintonville. It was held in London at the fairgrounds and contained loads of high quality antiques, sterling, art, china sets, early family heirlooms, dolls, quilts etc. After her sisters death, Mary moved to the Canterbury Luxury Apartments where she took lots of the items that meant the most to her (almost more than could actually fit in the apartment!). She has since moved in with her niece in Pennsylvania and decided to let all of her personal property sell at auction. When she was married, Mary & her husband lived on Park Ave. in New York City and she had made many purchases from several high end department stores that will be included in this auction. We are honored to present all of these items at our auction and hope that you can attend. Please contact us with any questions. This will be a large auction and we are still uncovering items.
Hope to see you there!
-Rob.
